licence bookings before birthday - 2008/06/04 20:57
Much to my surprize when I called the other day to make a booking for my son for his drivers licence I was told that it can only be done once he has had his birthday, even though the dates available (these are very scarce in the East Rand) for booking were after his 18th birthday. His birthday was on the 29th of Afril, and I have now been trying for 4 weeks to get a booking for him, and have not been able. THe East Rand do not have a waiting list, because the East Rand testing stations don't want a waiting list.
I believe it must be possible to program the system to allow for bookings to be made if the booking date is after the persons birthday.
Your investigation in this regards is appreciated.
