Renewal of motor vehicle license - 2008/09/25 21:59
It is now LONG overdue to renew motor vehicle license via the Internet.
Security of a transaction should not be a reason, as there are many relative uncomplicated ways to ensure a license is renewed by the lawful owner of a vehicle. The new license can be mailed to the registered address (same address as the renewal reminder).
This will further reduce the transactions required at the licensing authorities, reduce personnel and costs (such as buildings and counters). The legitimacy of a license renewal can take place off-line and be rejected if any fraud is suspected.
