Is the system wrong?? or am I - 2008/08/20 00:25 So... Maybe someone can help me here??

I buy a car 2004, cant afford to register it, then sell it to someone as spares - logbook and all - , get loaded with fines because i never registered, wait a year+ for the investigations and what not to finish, filed a stack off affidavits and forms, change of ownership blah blah...

by now i think that things are o.k. seeing that i waited so long... 4 years down the line 2008 the fines are still there, which i accept, but according to 'the system' i have not done any of the things asked of me 4years 2004 before : it just aint there and I get told that those kinds of things dont go on the 'system' - for whatever reason...

to top it of :] i cant do anything at the moment because this was in Maritzburg and I am now residing in East London... Uggh... Somehow it is expected of me to go and do everything i did 4 years ago, again.. - impossible - I got the money, want to pay the outstanding debt, like 4years 2004 ago but they wont let me...

How must I track the person i sold the car to sitting 600Km away, even if I was in PMB i couldnt find this guy...

Is the system wrong or am I ?? I accept negligence of the law is not an excuse and i will happily pay what i owe... But come on... And no-one can really help me either..

Is it my fault that the people on the other side of the counter is not doing their jobs properly...

If anyone has experienced this, i hear you!!!!
