Re:Failed image prints (CPF) - 2008/08/12 04:52 The history records indicate that the card production facility changed the state of your image scanning sheet number 200801546322 as follows: 2008-04-21 - Image not received, 2008-04-23 - Original rejected by CPF, 2008-05-03 - Image not received, 2008-07-10 Image never received. Thus, it appears as if the state 'Original rejected' was an error. I am thus of the opinion that non-receipt of the images is the cause of the current state not the quality.
The licence card is however now in such a state that a new set of images (fingerprints, photos and signature) is required. These follow-ups is one of the reasons why people are urged to visit their nearest DLTC. Since your licence is now on the system, you may order a new card from any DLTC.

Re:Failed image prints (CPF) - 2008/08/29 17:55 Hi Roelof

can you please tell me what is happening with my licence card application? i took your advise as to what to do next so i just wanna know if the CPF have received my application in order.herewith the receipt no. 4049014BBLFT.Since my 1st application was unsuccessful because the failed image prints of which i paid the application fee of R157, is it fair to pay up the application fee of R157 again for the 2nd application? coz this is what has happened to me.

Thanx, hope to hear from you soon ...

Re:Failed image prints (CPF) - 2008/09/02 03:19 Hi,
I have spoken to the card manufacturer. If a card has landed in 'Never produced' it will not be manufactured even if the image is received later on.
I have checked the specification, a new card is only free if the previous card is 'Never produced' and the application is made at the same DLTC.
The CPF has not yet received your images.

Re:Failed image prints (CPF) - 2008/09/02 17:34 Hi,
Can you please explain to me what you meant when you said, "If a card has landed in 'Never produced' it will not be manufactured even if the image is received later on." Since in my case i have never had licence card before meaning that the status of my card should be/is "never produced" .Does this mean that my card wont be manufactured on receival of my 2nd application which ive already made.

Re:Failed image prints (CPF) - 2008/09/06 17:08 The comment concerned the specific card. If you apply for a new one, a new image set is recorded. Your first card landed into 'Never produced' as the image set was not received on time. Your new application is independent. The CPF has not yet received your images.

Re:Failed image prints (CPF) - 2008/09/19 19:40 Hi Roelof
Can you please check if CPF has received my application? And how long does it take for applications to reach the CPF from the DLTC? Ive tried to call the Florida DLTC so many times to enquire about my application without any luck cause no one is picking up the phones.

Thanx

Re:Failed image prints (CPF) - 2008/09/19 21:05 The order is sent electronically the night of the day after you paid. The DLTC sends the images physically to the card factory and that depends on their specific frequency of sending. The order and the image have to be matched to make the card. On 2008-09-11, the card factory has set the status of you latest image to 'Image not received by CPF'. The card status remained at 'Details Received by CPF'. Thus, the DLTC has not sent the image through.

Re:Failed image prints (CPF) - 2008/09/22 23:41 Hi Roelof

Can you please explain how this is possible? I mean the application with images that i made on 18-08-2008 has not yet reached the CPF.This is really disturbing to say the least ...

Re:Failed image prints (CPF) - 2008/09/25 20:18 The card factory updated the image status to 'Original received by CPF' on 2008-09-22. The fingerprints were accepted. Regarding the delay in sending the images, you have to complain to the DLTC.
