Daily transaction volumes of more than 600,000 were recorded on three occasions during September.
System availability was 100% during business hours and the lower transaction volumes can be ascribed to the fact that there was a public holiday and a four-day school holiday during September. In addition, the National Association of Automobile Manufacturers of South Africa reported that the strike in the automotive component sector affected production and therefore also new vehicle sales in all sectors.
The Johannesburg user group performed the most transactions (684,760) followed by the City of Cape Town (536,215), Pretoria (502,744), Durban (280,494) and Port Elizabeth (158,144). Related articles: eNaTIS – Yet another flawless month |
