JOHANNESBURG – The National Traffic Information System (eNatis) system ran uninterrupted for the whole of December and was fully available during business hours.

This is according to Tasima, who are responsible for executing the Department of Transport’s contract for eNatis.

In its statistics for December, Tasima said that eNatis recorded its busiest day ever in December last year.

Learner’s licence authorisations peaked on December 11 when the system recorded 5 153 transactions – the highest number for a single day since the system’s launch.Vehicle licensing transactions also set a record on 18 December reaching 58 717. The same day also saw a record 488 629 users.
