Following a decrease of 16.55% in August 2008, the National Traffic Information System (eNaTIS) processed 875,069 vehicle licensing transactions in September, which represents a month-on-month increase of 14.72% and a year-on-year increase of 18.22%. Learner’s licence authorisations and driving licence card orders displayed year-on-year increases of 23.78% and 29.47% respectively. As reported last month , this can be ascribed to the more effective utilisation of testing resources made possible by the eNaTIS licence test appointment booking system.
